In IPL this year, 42 players were sold out of which 29 were overseas players and the rest of 33 players were Indian Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins became the most expensive foreign player in the history of tournament by signing the IPL contract for a whopping Rs. 15.50 crores by the Kolkata Knight Riders and the all-rounder Glenn Maxwell his teammate has too earned big with the final bid of Rs. 10.75 crores by the Kings X1 Punjab. |

Without the exciting Caribbean flavor, what is an IPL auction? The Sheldon Cottrell and Shimron Hetmyer the two duos of West Indian went for Rs 8.50 crores and Rs 7.75 crores to Kings X1 Punjab and Delhi Capitals respectively.
The two international captains Aaron Finch of Australia and Eoin Morgan of England has also gone for a big bid of Rs. 4.4 crores and Rs. 5.25 crores by the Royal challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively. The star all-rounders of South Africa were bought by the Royal challengers Bangalore at a whopping price of Rs. 10 crores.
Mumbai Indians picked a Chris Lynn for his base price Rs. 2crore in the IPL 2020 auction while Piyush Chawla was the priciest Indian player picked by Chennai Super Kings for a whopping Rs. 6.75 crore.
The Yashasvi Jaiswal young talented of Mumbai went to Rajasthan Royals for a price of Rs. 2.4 crores and the experienced leg spinner Pravin Tambe went to Kolkata knight Riders for an Rs. 20 lakh while Indian test specialist star batsman Cheteshwar Pujara Found no takers.
